Coplanar Pressure Measurement for Differential, Gauge, and Absolute Applications
The Rosemount 3051C Coplanar Pressure Transmitter measures process pressure using a coplanar sensor body, two isolating diaphragms mounted side by side on a single flange rather than in-line, and converts that reading into a 4-20 mA HART, Fieldbus, or wireless output. This gives process and reliability teams a single transmitter platform that can be ordered for differential, gauge, or absolute pressure without changing the underlying body design.
The coplanar design is what allows the 3051C to mount directly to manifolds, remote seals, and flow primary elements without extra adapters, and to be supplied with a 150:1 rangedown, so one transmitter rated for a wide span can also accurately measure a much narrower one. Reference accuracy of up to 0.04 percent of span and 10-year stability of 0.2 percent of URL keep readings dependable well past a typical recalibration cycle.
