Flush-Mount Pressure Measurement for Pulp and Paper Stock
The Rosemount 2090P Pulp and Paper Pressure Transmitter measures absolute or gauge pressure up to 300 psi through a process connection designed specifically for viscous, fibrous pulp and paper stock. Its isolation diaphragm sits flush with the vessel or pipe wall, eliminating the clogging problems a recessed diaphragm would face in stock prone to fiber buildup, crystallization, or polymerization.
It is available in a 1 inch flush-mount connection compatible with the PMC process connection, or a 1.5 inch threaded mounting connection, calibrated across spans from 0 to 1.5 psi up to 0 to 300 psi with 20:1 rangedown. A single-filled sensor system delivers accuracy of plus or minus 0.20 percent of span standard, with an optional plus or minus 0.10 percent high-accuracy version.
Output is 4-20 mA with selectable HART protocol. This is a specialized, lower-volume product built around the flush-mount connection rather than the accuracy or rangedown Rosemount’s general process platforms compete on.
