Its leading-edge capacitance sensor includes integral temperature measurement and a hermetic enclosure built to withstand demanding field environments.
Reference accuracy is plus or minus 0.25 percent of calibrated span, with 3-year stability and up to 40:1 rangedown, across pressure ranges rated to 20,000 psi and overpressure limits reaching 24,000 psi depending on the range code selected. Ambient operating range is -40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit (-40 to 85 degrees Celsius), and process temperature is rated to 250 degrees Fahrenheit (121 degrees Celsius).
Output is 4-20 mA with HART Revision 7, and the transmitter’s compact, lightweight, panel-mount design is what distinguishes it from Rosemount’s larger process-platform transmitters, which are built for field mounting rather than integration into an equipment panel.
